Llyn Cefni (Cefni reservoir) is situated behind the trees viewed from the campsite; a 5 mile foot/cycle path follows the banks of the reservoir. What could be better on a summer evening than to take a stroll along the banks listening to the birds calling? The path adjoins the 25 acre Dingle or Nant y Pandy Nature reserve, an ancient magical wooded valley full of wildlife including red squirrels kingfishers and many different species of bats; this in turn will take you to Llangefni.
In Rhosmeirch you will find a popular children’s play area and a football field.

As Trefollwyn is virtually in the centre of Anglesey, most beaches can be reached within 20 minutes’ drive.
(Anglesey Heritage centre) is only 3/4 mile from Trefollwyn next to the golf driving range. The Oriel is a purpose built museum housing a permanent exhibition giving an insight into the history and culture of Anglesey. The works of Sir Kyffin William, Charles Tunnicliffe OBE and many other artists can be viewed there. The Oriel has a shop and a very popular café.
